If you're planning on buying a Teac C-1D, don't do it if you don't buy the amplifier Teac A-1D. I did it, and now I have to bring the player back to the shop.
Let me develop this a bit more :
I bought it yesterday. I came back this morning at my house and I installed it near my pc for today. I launch my favorite cd at this moment (Jega-Geometry) and I'm gonna engage the repeat mode.
... but... where the hell is the repeat botton ?...
and the program one... or some others... ?
Well, there is none.
The retailer told me that the player was proposed by Teac without a remote control. I was aware about that. But not even him has known that you can't use the whole functions without the remote control.
Then, where is the remote control ?...
... with the amplifier A-1D.
Conclusion : Don't buy the C-1D, even if it is one of the best bargain for only 249 € instead of 379 €... if you're not buying the amp with it. And even if it is, I should admit, a really great sounding player.
