Hey all,

I'm thinking of adding a headphone amp to my set up. Its for my PC. I'm currently using super lux hd668b, and beats pro (CRAP!) with a Asus sonar d1.I was thinking of adding a fiio e9 to the mix. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

I don't think it'll make any difference.

Thanks for the input!  Glad you said, as I really don't want to spend money if it's not going to make an impact.  I was also looking at the Bravo Audio Ocean, and possibly the Little Dot MK series.

IMO you shouldn't spend more on an amp than your headphones. The beats pro don't really need any amplification either.

This is true.
 
I think maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of the price you paid for your cans should be spent on an amp.
