Hi, I'm new and just want some advice. I've been listening to vinyl for a few years on a sub standard system i was bought for christmas a while back. But the listening quality isn't great and it's not doing the records justice, nor is it good for them physically. I've been looking at different set ups online and decided i want to get a new turntable, a headphone tube amp with integrated pre-amp, and a decent set of headphones. As far as the turntable goes i was going to go with a pro-ject debut carbon. I was also looking at AKG K240 headphones but dont have enough knowledge of pairing phones with the amp or general quality etc. I listen to rock/alternative rock and folk music, pixies radiohead ryand adams etc. I'd be mostly listening through headphones but would like to be able to hook up speakers as well if i wanted to every once and a while. Any advice or guidance is greatly appreciated thanks :)
