I am looking for a desktop unit that can take inputs from both my laptop via USB, and from my turntable pre-amp (to the same unit). I would hope this unit would then have an input selection switch that I could toggle between sources.
I was looking at the Ifi Den DAC 2, but Ifi told me I would need a separate USB DAC/amp in addition, which along with the phono pre-amp then becomes a 3 unit stack. I dont want three units.
I found a unit made by Monoprice, which I attahed pictures of. I found this on ebay and looks like it does what I need. Is this true? What else is out there for me to consider?
