TomTom just dropped their prices rather dramatically, at least in the USA.

- TomTom ONE $299 (in Europe sold as either a "Regional" or "All-Europe" model for 249 and 349 Euros, respectively (France list prices))

- TomTom 510 $399 (Europe 369)

- TomTom 910 $499 (has both USA and Europe maps) (Europe 499)

bump..

after loaning out my buddies I finally decided to make a business expense and buy a nuvi for myself..

I got the simple nuvi 350 cause i don't need any features like blue tooth or anything like that.

I mount mine with Velcro rite in the middle of my instrument cluster.

here is a quick pic..I like it

i just picked up a garmin 2730 from amazon for $479...costco's selling them for $499 plus tax but i found a better deal on amazon...the folks over at advrider swear by the 26xx, 27xx, and 28xx series for both motorcycle and cage use. since my wife and i are moving to arizona this summer i thought it was a good excuse to finally pick one up...

now, i gotta figure out how to get it to work with my mac

Back to the GPS business I have been using my Garmin 60csx for a month and I couldnt be happier. It gives you nice point to point directions but can also be used for Geocaching, hiking, sailing etc etc. It wont talk to you though if thats what you need.
