Hey guys, at the beginning of the year I had to sell off my LCD3s and my Mjolnir/Gungnir stack. Things are much better now and I'm looking at getting a new pair. I absolutely loved the way those sounded. Anyone know of anything under $1000 that be similar?

For the entire set-up, or just the headphones? If it's just the headphones, then that's easy - the LCD-2!

Yeah--the only thing close is the LCD-2.  Pick up a used pair and head to the threads dedicated to the 2 for what owners hear as the best amp combos.  You can buy used again if needed.

Interesting, maybe I'll let the change jar fill up until I can at least get a 2.. If not a 3 again.
