Hi there,

First time post but been in this forum a lot over the past couple of days worrying after buying some Audio-Techinca ATH-M50s from eBay. There are alot of threads about fakes on this forum, and mine were pretty cheap and haven't arrived yet. I was wondering if you guys would also be worried after buying http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50s-Professional-Studio-Monitor-Headphones-Straight-Cable/261236971660?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D8785569442410781459%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D261236971660%26 this item.

Thanks, I've been learning alot on how to spot a fake on here if it arrives but I'm thinking on canceling the order so I don't have to post it back to Australia .

It's usually name brand headphones shipped from China are where the fakes come from.
The 88 pound ($133) is about a mid range price for ATH-M50.
In the U.S.A. price for the ATH-M50s can be be from $115 (75 GBP) to $160 (105 GBP),
And the seller in general has good feedback.
So I'm guess the headphone are not fakes.

Oh right, I never knew how cheap they were elsewhere - amazon uk's asking price is £130! I thought I'd bagged a deal too goo to be true, but I'm actually paying the right amount haha
Thanks a lot, I needed someone to say something like that :)
