Hi all. :)

So there's a little room in my house that I'm hoping to transform into a mini recording studio. It's been sitting there barren for so long, I feel I'd be missing a golden opportunity if I didn't do so. I'm hoping to use it for voice over and narration sessions. Not instruments of any sort, just pure vocal work.

Trouble is, I'm not too well versed in what audio equipment one would need to pursue such an endeavor. I've heard that Blue mics are quite good and some of the higher end Sony ones are excellent, but I honestly have no idea. Then there's the mixer and other accessories I'm totally ignorant on.

What would I need to make this studio a reality? Could it be done with a budget of $500-$750? Thanks for reading.

There are plenty of home recording related sites you might want to visit if not already done it (articles, forums, etc.).
