Hey Headfi
I'm new to these forums and also new to hifi audio stuff. I'm started to take my audio a little more seriously and this includes a decent audio setup for my desktop computer. I'm on a limited budget and almost zero knowledge however so I was hoping I could start a thread to get some advice; including but not limited too:
1> what's a good amp/DAC?
2> I still want to be able to use speakers, what's a good set up that allows me to switch between headphones and speakers quickly?
3> My computer is an Apple iMac 2010, so tips on optimizing audio for a mac would be great, software for example?
4> Anything I might be missing? Previous threads that I might not know about that I could read through
Thanks guys, I like these forums a lot.
