The HD558 comes with black rubber tape on the inside of the cups, covers about 40% of the air holes, you will want to remove the tape to make the HD558s more like the HD598, but it will not an exact match.
Removing the tape might void the warranty.
So might as well by used HD558s ($92.87, Amazon).

This aftermarket cable ($17.20-$19.60) makes it a little easier to use the HD558 with a 3.5mm jack.

Otherwise you should not need to change anything with that combo (HD558/Magni/D1).

One other possible combo is the AKG K612 Pro (120-Ohm) headphones, (open box, $175)

With the Sound Blaster Z (SB1500) sound card, $81

But I have not seen any feedback on a K612/SB-Z combo, but the combo makes sense.

You might also try asking in these two threads about anything gaming, see what they think of the combos.

Apparently the Titanium HD will provide me wiht a better gaming sound experience but anyway

will that set up could get any better with an STX or Titatium HD also if i want to improve my headphone in the future or should i just keep with the D1? I would love to set my EQ in case i need it..

The AD7000 apparently are the best but they are ugly as hell, also the 598 seems to be better than an unmodded 558, im sure i wont mod mine because i dont like buying new stuff to mod.. and i wont buy the 598 because they are ugly as hell too, but i guess is either 558 or pc360, and since both are black, i guess ill go for the 558.. help me out wiht the question about the sound card and unless i found out anything that could change up my mind about those g4me zero (waiting for reviews and comparison, its 120$ more bucks than the 360 and they are the same, there should be a difference in terms of quality more than just color.. But your the expert), i guess ill buy the set up with the 558-amp-card

Titanium HD comes with an audio processor that has feature not offered in other audio processors.
But I'm assuming Creative Labs is looking at using software drivers that can take advantage of the main CPU, in it's more modern cards.
The Xonar D1 and the STX both use the same C-Media CMI8788 audio processor.
Just get the Xonar D1 (for now) and you can always swap out the Magni, to a different external headphone amplifier, if needed.

P.S. I'm not an expert (not even close), just opinionated, but I do spend a lot of time reading up on computer hardware.
Built my first Win PC back in 1996.

Listen, the sennheiser g4me zeros are probably very good but not worth it, also, "7.1 surround" isn't all it's cracked up to be, If you just get a very good pair of stereo headphones, it'll server you just as well if not better for gaming and hearing where things are in relation to you, I mean, you only have 2 ears after all, and it's your brain that naturally processes audio information to make a 3d picture out of it. Don't waste your money getting something with "7.1 surround" just get something good, also, as far as actual quality to price, headsets aren't very good, you'll want a pair of headphones like either the sennheiser hd 598s or possibly the 600s or 650s if your willing to spend enough. Sound cards are completely unnecessary, just get an amp, (only if you get a better one though, like the 600s or 650s) I'll let you decide on that one... just you know don't spend TOO much on one, like 3-400 dollars, as they only help out so much. however if you do get headphones you'll need a mic, either one that attaches to you headphones or your shirt will do for about 15 to 20 dollars, or you could spend 40 to 60 and get a blue snowball which is quite a good one. you COULD always just stick with this headset... I mean it wouldn't be the end of the world... just not as good.
