Yup, as you can see there two switches at the back to select between xlr and rca
So the settings are:
xlr to xlr
xlr to SE
rca to SE

What is the dual-mono upgrade and what does it do?

Dual mono allows you to use it as single ended.

dual mono would indicate you have a 1/4 plug for each side, left and right, is that the case?

It means one psu and one amp unit for left and right channel seperately under single ended operation
