Recently paid attention of two double-dynamic drivers earphones - Havi B3 and KEF M200. Just bought M200 due to a good deal. From reading the reviews, I acknowledged that the two earphones have great soundstage, 3D presentation and details. It is said M200 have more bass.
After got M200, I just realize its bass quantity is just soso. I'm a basshead.
Then I realize how great the Ie80 is!! Though lack burn-in, the M200 is similar to IE80 in many facets - great soundstage, 3D presentation and details, which only belong to high end phones. However, IE80 are much much more bassy than M200!! I suddenly have an admiration to Sennheiser! It's well-known that bass can mire middle. That's why even these double drivers phones only have little bass to get a balance sound signature. However, IE80, only one driver, with tons of bass, still have wonderful balance, natural, clean and clear and top presentations!!!
So technically, I think non IEM can be compared with Sennheiser. Just personal opinion.
