hi!

i am looking for a suitable recorder for field-recordings and thought about the new Hi-MD minidisc recorders from sony as they also can record uncompressed now. i like NH900 best, so would choose probably this one.

i read in the manual that you can choose either manual recording level or automatic. but is it also possible to adjust the recording level during the recording itsself or only when set to rec-pause?

can anyone answer this please?
