I have been giving it a little thought. Isn't it a matter of just making proposal:
a date say Sunday 25th November 2012
11am-4pm (set up from 10, lock hall by 5pm)
Hall with easy parking, central, lots of power points, tables, chairs, kitchen facility and toilet
$20 per head to cover hall cost? - need 15 people to break even, based on suggestion below.

Has anyone been to a meet before?
In my very simple view the most difficult requirement is adequate power outlets.

Suggest Freemasons Hall Regency Road broadview. The cost is $300 plus a $500 bond.
John Sassine (08) 8367 9381
There is probably somewhere cheaper. I will enquire further later this week.
I would be willing to cover the bond. Do we have any interest or better suggestions?

but why would you need to pay for a place when you can get a free place to use in the city?

and the place you mention is not in the city...its inconvenient to many

I think a meeting at either UniSA or Uni Adelaide is a great idea. I'd be more than happy to attend and bring some gear.

At the moment I'm trying to sell my Beyer DT880 600ohm and possibly my Shiit M&M stack too.

How much are you prepared to pay? Send me a PM with your best offer and we'll take it from there. Cheers
