Hi,

I just received my Meze 99 Classics (what incredible headphones btw!) with the optional 2.5 mm balanced cable by Meze. Now that I tested both the FiiO Q1 MK2 with the balanced cable and the Dragonfly Red with the 3.5 mm cable I decided to keep the DF as it sounds definitely better than the FiiO. Now I just ask myself if I can also use the balanced cable with the DF. Is this possible? Do I need an adapter? Or will balanced to single-ended simply bring no benefit at all?
