I just got the new Adam A7 Monitors a few days ago, Adams first "mid-class" monitor costing 399€ or 499$ a piece.

To make it short these surprised me, i gave up on hifi speakers and studiomonitors so many times due to my apartment, its very difficult to set up speakers here. After trying many hifi speakers and monitors at my home i think the Adams are probably the best you can get for 1000$, and you wont even need an amp

What i first noticed when listening to them is the blackness in the soundstage between Instruments, amazing to hear it from a 1000$ speaker.
Similar to the K701 the music through these has an almost electrostatic-like effortless sound.

The bass is great, better than i expected from a 6.5" woofer. Its, tight, dry, impactful (VERY impactful when turning up) and detailed. However you'll need a good room treatment to let these monitors fully show their bass qualities.
This is clearly something where your room will be the limiting factor.

Besides that they are very easy to set up, even with a problematic set up they still give good imaging. Listening to them all day, they have no fatigue at all.

Frequencyrange measures great too, the text below the picture says the 100hz dent is a problem of their room. Dont think Flat equates boring like the K701, that is absolutely not the case with this (and other) speakers.

The only downside i found in this monitor is that it needs a little volume to come alive, compared to the W5000 that is

If you're a fan of subbass you'll need the matching adam sub obviously. These go deep enough for me and they dont sound like anything is missing. Also you can always dial in some room EQ on the back of the speaker

If you want something better you have to go directly to highend monitors in the 1500-2000$ range (per speaker) and get a serious room treatment.

Gotta leave for work now, i'll drop some more impressions later.
