Hi everyone
I'm using Grado sr80e now and i want to have another headphone which sounds differently from it. I can buy an amp but I really dont want to. Which performs better without an amp? I m using Ipod Classic.
And I also can buy HD600 as the same price as those two. Does hd600 sound worse than hd598 and ad900x without amp on ipc? Obviously I'll buy an amp later if i buy hd600.

Both the HD598 and AD900X perform fairly well without an amp.

I have no experience with the HD600s without an amp.

Have bought the hd600. Now I'm searching for an amp. How about O2. I love neutral sound

The O2 is a very good amp. In the same budget range, you might also look at the Schiit Magni 2.
