I see quite a lot of member have AD2000 AD900 and even some AD1000. Just curious how many of us own the limited AD1000PRM?

I own one, and love it even more than the W5000.

Do you have any other open Audio-Technica headphones to compare it to? That would be very interesting and would of course also be greatly appreciated. I'd also like to know what the differences are between the regular AD1000 and the AD1000PRM. This thread also can't answer my question. Any idea?

I haven't try the normal AD1000 and AD2000 to be honest, but from my friend's word they are very close to AD2000 and quite different to AD1000. My AD1000PRM also share the same impression from reviews here. I would think of it as a AD2000 with less clampy headband... xD

They pair very VERY well with J-pop and J-Rock, female vocals. Jazz may sound a bit harsh, but still good and well defined. The bass have impact and quality but not a large quantity. They really sound (and looks) like a AD2000 to me.
