The only thing you really gain by going with the forte for games is better EAX support. EAX is pretty much dead and I don't even like what it does in older games anyway. It does support surround sound over analog though.

You decide what suites you better.

alright, I agree with you richard while I respect your opinion momo, I'm saving my pennies for an essence, what's a few frames in a game I already get well over a 100 most of the time?.....Wonder if anyone has an essence for sale....

but please, convince me to go into other avenues for improving my sound....
