I recently purchased active speakers with the intention of mixing and listening to audio in 5.1. The speaker system consists of KRK RP5 G2s and a KRK 10'' Sub. I also picked up a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24, so that I can mix with the KRKs in the surround sound. But I'm having troubles trying to figure out a method to play back the KRKs with my PS3. Does anyone have any ideas or helpful advice and/or knowledge? I'm a student whom is trying to learn audio.

You need a receiver (home cinema) with a HDMI input for your PS3 and preamp outs for your active speakers.
