Since I am the newbie and not too familiar with some of the acronyms listed in the threads, could someone be kind enough to spell out and point out the most common ones?

I know YGPM = You Got Private Message, SQ = Sound Quality, FS = For Sale...

What are BUMP? DOWN? UP? IC? and so forth?

Thank you!

BUMP, UP, and DOWN are not acronyms. If you uncapitalize them, their meanings should become more apparent

IC = interest check

Okay, so Bump, Up, Down...
Now what? It usually says one word.
Are we talking price? Is someone requesting a price increase or decrease? Is the seller adjusting prices?

What does bump mean? I am too old for this....LOL

Bump is for the forsale forum. When a tread goes down to the second page the seller reply with bump to "bump" the message up to the top of the first pages UP also mean the same thing. UP to the top of the first page. It just mean hey it's still for sell i want it to be seen

I think it means both... there was a thread on this a while back and someone in cyberspace devoted a www page to it, in reference to D&D.
