A few days ago I saw an ad. in Audio ideas magazine about a beautiful German CD transport. I think the name was Acoustics Art Drive One. I want to find more info about it but I cannot find anything on the web. I probably did not get the name right (bad memory

) Does anyone know what I am referring to? If you have info about it please let me know. Thanks!

Try Accustic Art, this one has good review as a CD transport. I found a picture showing the whole system AA was showing in Francfort 2002 Audio show. As I can't read French, can't tell you more.

And this is definitely not Shanling.

Check audiogon.com, if you care for a used and slightly more affordable one. I saw a couple recently.

I believe it's 4k+.

Some reviewers said it make a perfect combination with MSB Platinum Link.

Checked audiogon.com, there's one place selling it for $3500 new. Hmmm, I just bought a DAC and a headphone amp. I don't think I can afford to pay this kind of money at this moment.

Anyone have a good suggestion for a good transport for may be $2000?

My choice is Sony SCD-XA777ES. Transport is hard to find at this price range.
