What is the maximum size SD card has anyone managed to sue successfully? I have stuck with a 128gb one for the past few years but I really would like to go bigger

Mine hosts a 512 Go (lexar) card filled with ~300 Go of FLAC files. Works flawless so far (formatted in FAT32)

selling or trading mine, see "for sale/trade" section
and to forestitalia my M2 works flawless with Wi-Fi and Spotify
my unit has fatal problems with Spotify, often freezing and then shutting down.
Anyone facing the same problem?

I hope to write here soon))). I'm waiting for a package from M2. I have a Calyx M and HD650. I don't know what the M2 will give me, but the M20 did not impress me.

New or ‘previously enjoyed’ M2?

I’ve always wanted a Calyx but the reportedly poor battery life has kept me away. The AR-M2 is a very capable player and terrific audio-wise. Just a tad dated now. However, it *should* prove to be more efficient with battery charge life than Calyx, albeit perhaps not as great if it’s used.

I have owned (and still do) both. Different sound signatures, M2 has a slight edge in battery life. M2 also has dedicated Line Out none on Calyx M. Both have janky UI quirks. M2 can be rooted and customized and use streaming services. Calyx M with dual slots offers larger storage options for onboard playback.

which has more ear time in my world?

Calyx M - to me it is a bit more in line with my sound preference regardless of having less runtime. Although, I have run them back to back on many occasions without any regrets.

Don't expect perfection from either, enjoy what they can do for music playback (assuming you like how they sound)

If you don't use streaming services, I would also suggest to try out the Cayin N3Pro or Cayin N8. Because they are using mini vacuum tubes to create a analogue-wise sound signature and have some interesting sound modes. I selled my M2 after I tried the N3Pro.
