Hey guys, newbie around.

So I have a pair of studio monitors for mixing music, but right now I am living in quite possibly the most acoustically disgusting place on the planet, and so I can't get a good grip on mixing anything that way.

I don't own a good pair of headphones, and I think it would benefit me to get something half decent. In short, what are the most neutral headphones I could possibly snag for around $100? Plus or minus whatever, I'm just gauging the field right now.

EDIT: Preferably over-the-ear and well-isolated.

They may not be the most neutral on the planet, but they are very balanced and that is the SoundMAGIC HP151. It is a bit over $100, but it is very worth it. A really solid headphone. Maybe read about it and see what you think. It is possible it could work for you. Over-ear and comfy.

The flattest is either Sony MDR CD9000ST or Shure SRH840. The 7506 is NOT flat IMO so it’s not really good for mixing
