I also agree that you'll be pleasantly suprized with them. Although my PFE's have since passed on (rest in piece

), I thought they produced a stunning sound signature. Overall, very, very nice.

Please write about your experience. I'm waiting on it to purchase. Interested in knowing about sound of course and comfort too.

You won't be dissapointed with the bass unless you expect thumping and bloated bass that overwhelms everything else.
You'll like them even more with your E5 and the bass boost on.
Sound is absoulutely stunning, comfort is the best I have ever seen.

Kind of like when my roommate loan me his V-moda Vibes.....sheeeesh those things were wayyy too muddy and bloated (bass) that just killed the music for me. He listens to mainly Hip Hop and rock though.....I listen to more refined stuff like House/Deep House

thanks

Sorry if that came across harsh. There has been a lot of traction for the PFEs on here lately, so much so that some people that don't like their sound or haven't heard them are calling them FOTM. But there are 2 pro reviews, anythingbutipod (legit) & cnet (laughable reviewer) and they received editors choice both places.

I actually changed my mind and bought the monster turbines from amazon. I might also buy the PFE's after I get my tax rebate - depends on how I like the turbines.

I'm used to dynamic IEMs (x3's were dynamic right?) and do like a little extra bass - but not too much that it hurts the ear obviously and gives ear fatigue.

Let's see how it goes.
