Is there any major difference between E436F, S639 , S616, A729, A818 in term of SQ? Price are a little bit different among these babies.........so pls help me to decide. If there is no difference, then I would pick the cheapest one then

I listened to a A729 and S639 and didn't think there was any difference in sound (although S639 is meant to have less background hiss)

I thought the screen was a lot better on the 729 though - obviously larger, but brighter as well IMO (may have been placebo)

I really dun mind screen size.........just want to make sure it got same SQ or function. Playing with my friend A729 for a while, pretty amaze with how sony eq could make a difference

I would go for either the A729 or the S639 (in aus the A729 is cheaper). As far as I know, the E-series does not have some extra equaliser functions like clear bass or DSEE. The A729 comes with better headphones in comparsion to S-series or E-series and these headphones make a lot of difference to the hearing experience too.
