Something you should know about call center headset

Dunno if it's ok to bump a dead thread, But I am interested too. The place where I work gave me a logitech pc 960 and I find it quite horrible quality. Hard to hear people, and they do not hear me well either. Wonder if I could upgrade without breaking the bank to make my life easier. Do you guys have any suggestion?
