Has anyone noticed that annoying fact that when you move you head or jaws, A900 make that creaking squeaking noise. None of my other phones do that. Is it because of the aluminum cups or that 3d wing support?

Yup, I think it comes from the spring in the support system.

Just did some head/jaw gymnastics. No squeaking. I then manually poked the support wing and there is some squeaking - it just dosn't happen when I move.

The brushing of the cord against the shirt is however audible in the left cup.

I hear it in w2002 too. And it's most serious in my cheap HA4.

But I typically don't move when I listen to headphone, so it doesn't really bother me that much.

Mine have never squeaked, creaked or made any other structural noises. I do notice that the cord is microphonic, however.

They also seem to build up a static charge in cool, dry weather. Not a problem really, but it comes as a surprise now and then.
