I'd love to get the S639 in white, or at the least blue myself. Black is so boring. My GAWD, I'd rock it in PINK just to be different. Do me a favor, keep me posted on what you think of the player once you have it, and have gotten a chance to enjoy it for awhile. Just wan't to know if I did good is all

I've always heard that equalizers introduce distortion. The reason why i don't hear distortion... Could it be because i'm equalizing with a sony ericsson phone? Which is sony related? Or when you guys say distortion, you mean something else more subtle.

There is no distortion w/my Sony A829, and I'm using my EQ. It's just a matter of personal preference, about how you like your music to sound.

Singapore doesn't sell the S639..
S739 when Sitex comes end of the month then.
In the flash 'ad' sony has there's a white A829. Maybe they'll actually make white players..
Black's a fine colour, but it would look so much better in white imo.
ljcii, can't help you there. My only Sony product is my W810i... And i usually use my Zen:w instead
