Even when sitting perfectly still the A700 pads crinkle in a very distracting manner for me when listening to quiet sections in music or movies. I've heard the replacement earpads for the Audio Technica AD-1000 are a good option(and I assume are non-crinkly?) However, when looking for these earpads I've been unable to find any place online selling the AD-1000 replacement pads. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Gracias in advance.

Are your A700's older or something? I've never experienced the crinkling you speak of.
