Well, I battled and tried going without headphones for awhile, but I really thought about headphones everyday as if it were a sweet young woman, so I thought I'd try the red-headed can of the Audio Technica line. I just got them in today and they look very nice. Here are some pics. They are a glossy midnight blue kind of color.

They look great, question is how do they sound? If they truly sound more refined that an A500, they would be worth buying.

That sparkle finish is really odd, it's kind of like the one on the MZ-S1, but uglier if I do say so (blue/green instead of white/silver). Congrats, being one of the few A700 owners on head-fi (the others don't post...lol)

It really doesn't look as bad as everyone is making it seem. Because of the flash and excess light I used it looks like sparkly toothpaste. They look very nice though, I like the look of them over the a900's.

JBroad572 and I both ordered the Senn HD-595, both of us sold them cause we didnt like them and now he has ordered the A-700 and I have ordered the A-900 (for almost exactly what I sold the 595

)

We seem to think alike!!

Jaysus, I didn't realise they looked so big on! I wear mine in work without any bad comments so far.

btw linking to a photo on port 8080 of a server means a lot of people won't be able to see it, as they'll be behind firewalls. I had to alter mine to see the pic.
