I've bought the A500's for a friend and listen to them regularly. I heard them out of the box, and if anything, i thought the treble was too rolled off. Then, with burn in, it seemed to fill in, and slowly the details came out.
It is possible that different sets of the same model sound differently without burn in, but converge on a similar sound as they get burned in?
I really like the A500. Seems to me like a killer bargain, and drivable out of just about anything. How do they compare to the SR60, seeing how you own both? I might get the SR60 for another friend's birthday
