Just want everyone to know that its been quite a while since I have had a dedicated DAP.  Doing research I have seen good things about hte Hifiman hm-700 and the ibasso dx-90.  I know that the dx-90 appears to be a step up from the 700 but am I really going to notice a huge difference if I were to buy the dx-90 vs the hm-700.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

DX90 is a real audiophile dap compared to the hm700 that doesn't play hi-res above 24/48, however it depends on your budget, if money is not a problem go for DX90 it's almost 10x better in terms of features and 2x for SQ
