i decided to buy smaller foam earips (Earphone Tips F FEYCH Premium Replacement Memory Foam Earbud Tips for Shure, Etymotic, Klipsch, Westone & More Earphones Dustproof Durable Blocking Noise Foam Tips with Storage Box (12 Pices,Small) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VXLQYGQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_zmxYEb349DHZN)
then i used an xacto knife to remove about 1/16” length (from the base - earphone side).
more comfortable and tolerable now. this also allowed the nozzle to go further into the ear canal and the sound is also better.
