This isn't a tweak, per se...

We all understand that heavier pieces of audio equipment tend to isolate better... do you think that stacking audio components on top of each other, or otherwise placing resonably heavy items on top of your equipment helps to reduce vibrations?

I stacked my pre-amp on top of my CDP(when I had a front loader) for just that purpose. The CDP was on true points, and the pre-amp was on sorbothane feet. Some things can produce noise when to close together but I never had any problems. I've also used bricks, sand and mucho other crapola.
