Ok, i've designed and built a frame for my new headphone cable, but am still undecided on a wire to use for it. Any reccomendations, single wire, for around a dollar a foot? I was looking at teflon 4n silver, but it's more than i'm intrested in spending. And for plugs, any real difference between neutrix and cardas quality-wise?

Go for something that's of reasonably good quality (remember that high cost doesn't necessarily mean better quality) and within your budget.

I was asking more about any spefic brands that were well-made at this price range. i was thinking something in the range of 5-6N copper
