Sorry for the confusion about the new foams.
To clear a few things up:
- There should be no change in density / consistency from the sleeves I've been handing out for a year now and those that have been sold since we began full production a few months back.
- The sleeves have all been manufactured in the same facility here in the United States, no changes in sight for that.
- We added "dimples" to identify size options. It's like this:
1 dimple = small
2 dimples = medium
3 dimples = large
- The lines at the very bottom don't mean anything. They are the "gates" where the material is poured into the mold.
- There is no "coating" on the sleeves, the material is poured into a mold and the resulting skin is the natural result of the poured injection rather than cutting of the foam.
- The inner tubes should all be clear or a light gray. The bonding agent and the color of the black material sometimes make it seem blue-ish, but it's clear in most cases.
Again, sorry for the confusion.
