A petition to SOW (Save our wallets).

The petition is sponsored by Justice For Audio. Clicked through to read about them, read a few articles, and eventually ended up at Pleasurize Music Foundation (or dynamicrange.de). An interesting movement being promoted there. A proposal to create a standard measurement for dynamic range and publish the dynamic range of an album. It just got started this year. They have a tool that you can download to analyze your music and calculate the DR number. Interesting proposal. I don't know if it will catch on, but wish them luck.

The Pleasurize Music Foundation also has a list that you can sign to show your support.

Those fargin bastages, damned cork suckers. I'm in.

What's this for again? Oh yeah, poor recordings.

More Beatles releases (hangs head in disgust). They sell to the same people who buy the re-release of DSotM and every other popular release. The O/C crowd. (I have a few (4) copies of DSotM)
