I have upgraded my source to Linn Ikemi for one year now. It improves my listening a lot. However, I am still not satisfied yet. The reason is it cannot even outclass my Sony DNE1 when paired with my EMP. My DNE-1 and EMP is a very good combo plus the CD3K. On the contrary, I don't like the CD3K/EMP/Ikemi combo. Only RS1 and the W1000 works well with the Ikemi.

I am surprised to see that the huge price difference between those two souces only result in a very slight difference. I guess, for headphone listening, the Ikemi need a perfect amp to match.

For those Ikemi owners, I need a suggestion which amp I shall consider? My budget is between $800 - $1000.

Kuma seems to like the naim headline, Linn and Naim are supposed to work well together too.

Havent heard one myself, so I don't really know.
