Hi all, thank you for the add.
I picked up a "mint" a&k SR15 audio player on eBay a couple of days ago. Hugely impressed with the sound, however it is running very hot and I'm only getting approx 5 hours of continuous play from it. Left the player on standby at 100% charge before going to bed, came back 6 hours later and the battery was totally depleted. It required ten minutes charging before it would power up. Can anyone tell me if this is normal performance for this player?

Someone with the SR15 will likely be able to help but it doesn't look right by being "very hot". It is normal for such devices to be warm during playback or charging but not "very hot". You made sure to only charge it with micro usb from a computer or a 5v, 2a wall usb adapter?

Thank you for the reply. Player was supplied without a charger so it was charged via USB on my PC.
