lol at 1st when i saw that colorful/colorfly thingy i thought that the whole thing was made in china xD but after seeing the euro's made me think otherwise. still not sure though

IMHO it was made in China but Colorful (a German company?) will sell it.
 
and yes, digital output will be nice for JH-3A.

Told you that yesterday!  Is that price including the VAT?  How about generous preorder pricing for an unknow product.  Someone should send them a link to HeadFi or they don't know/don't care.

I think a few people (including myself) were interested in the colorfly when it was first mentioned here in head-fi, but that was when the price was thought to be around 250 euros. 
at 499 Euros, I think it is way to much for what is relatively an unknown player (and maker) for now.

Also how can they market this as a portable player? Look at the volume switch for christs sake, doesn't look portable friendly to me.

TDA1308 ... should be a competitor to famous amp3.

Considering current prices on flash memory, they could make models with 64, 128 and 256gb (and sell these for EUR 540, 620 and 780 respectively). It is not a big difference between EUR 780 and EUR 500, and this really cool looking DAP is so huge that i doubt if there is no enough room in it.
