damn, that must be pretty high-end. balanced connectors only? also, it looks *very* much like the orpheus as far as tubes and volume control layout.

ummmmm thats definitely tubed not ss. but anyways beutiful amp. How much was it (if you dont mind me asking)? and more importantly how does it perform?

1. There's NO WAY that's DIY! If it is, then I will KILL to find out where to buy that chassis.

It looks awesome! Fantastic work.

A guy with a decent workshop and some metalworking skills could make that chassis from drawings/sketches in a day or so.

The drawings/sketches could take another day depending on you knowledge about the stock materials available.

And another half day or so to find all the materials needed.

The cost if you had to buy everything retail and pay for the labour would be very steep indeed.
