Recently, there was a post on eBay from someone claiming to offer an early version of the HIFIMAN HE560. The post was so full of innaccuracies that I feel it is necessary to make a few clear corrections.

• Contrary to the post, Binwu He, aka Winny, is still with HIFIMAN. Mr. He, a founder and co-owner of the company, never left. Unfortunately, Mr. He's recent health issues have prevented him from appearing at most public events. • Though the person who posted the offer on eBay claimed to be a part of HIFIMAN, it is in fact not ture. We did not hire any such employee in NYC area between 2013 and 2016. After I graduated from Ph.D program of CUNY and moved back to China in 2011, HIFIMAN's representation in the U.S. consisted of our warehouse and marketing/sales teams. We situate our U.S. facility to Newark, DE between 2013 to 2016, and our acoustic lab is in China's Guangdong province.
• HIFIMAN's HE560 driver was never changed or modified, nor did we change the magnet vendor. The three variations differ only in terms of cable connections: first coax, then 2.5mm, then 3.5mm, and a custom-made version for Adorama that also included a new headband.

I hope this clears up any confusion. We cannot always catch every error on eBay or in the forums, but these falsehoods were too extreme to ignore.
