I just got a DAC-AH and an Original Master. I ripped some CDs into wav. but i'm hearing a bit of static through my K81's. I'm using cheapo cables. Could they be the reason I am hearing the static or is something else wrong? Thanks

It could be a few things, first I would make sure everything is tightly connected then I would try different sources to rule out the source as the problem. If you do not have a different source rip another song and try again, it may just be a bad rip. If that is not it let the Lite Dac-Ah burn in for 100 hours while you check periodically to see if the static disapears.
