A&K Kann Ultra with Fiio PL50 linear power supply?

Hello.

I'm getting a custom build desktop cradle for my Kann Ultra and I was wondering whether I could have it plugged in with my fiio PL50 to avoid draining the battery. Is this doable/advisable? Thank you!

Maybe check in the manual or menu if there's a mode to set it to run off only the USB power. If the battery is charging when being used, it can heat it up which shortens battery life. Also possible a higher noise floor when it's charging than running just off the battery. There's a few DAPs with an external switch to select, but doesn't seem to be one visible. If there's a menu option that's the best bet to check on.
