A good year in rock music: 1991....pick your favorite album

Primus - Sailing The Seas Of Cheese. Followed by Fishbone - The Reality Of My Surroundings.

I went to a really small rural high school and they all thought I listened to weird music.

I was really split between Laughing Stock and Loveless. I voted for Laughing Stock because I find myself listening to Talk Talk more than My Bloody Valentine though.

"Losing My Religion" was huge, and I think Out of Time is actually a really good album, so that's probably my favorite.

Of the ones listed in the poll, I have to vote for Nevermind for sheer cultural impact, with Loveless also big but in a way that was more "under the radar."

That was a really hard poll!

OK.

The term "rock" is overused. Asking someone who grew up in the sixties what rock is will be completely different from one who grew up in the nineties.

Pearl Jam Ten gets my vote. Awesome album from start to finish.

100% agree.

I also really like Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears as well.

The early 90's were a great time to be a rock fan.

The "rock" genre was used to market anything because of rock and roll's popularity.

Drugs/liquor have nothing to do with my view. It could though, whatcha got?

You're off topic. Would be an interesting discussion in it's own thread though.

Regarding THIS thread: It's a tough choice, but I have to pick Ten.
