No problem! That mistake is often made... and corrected by people on head-fi.

No please don't! The DT770 Pro is several times the headphone at approximately the same cost.

For all who live in NYC: Canal Dev, a store in Chinatown, has the V6 for $79.99, no tax and (obviously) no shipping. I was just there yesterday and there were two pair on the V6 headphone rack. When I bought a pair some time ago, they were ten dollars cheaper, but you can probably talk them down.

Dev is across the street from a better-known store, Canal Hi-fi, which has a web site.

Dev is also an excellent store for cheap and stylish MD blanks.

One caveat in stores in Chinatown:

To get a gray-market store to sell an item without tax, offer to use your credit card first. That will compel them to offer to sell the item without tax. Do pick a store with a history, though, and ask about returns. I don't know that I'd buy anything exotic gray market unless the store honored returns. (Sony US models like the V6 are safe enough -- the Sony store in midtown repaired mine no questions asked).

Must go. Busy Sunday.
