Can anyone recommend sound card/AMP/ DAC for my HD558? I would prefer if it's USB connected and a 6.5 mm socket so i can plugged my 558 directly. My budget is about 150- 200.

Thanks :D

EDIT: I almost forgot that I will favor listening to detailed music over gaming for the sake of 7.1 channels any time, so it does'nt matter if it does'nt support 7.1 or 5.1 as long as it can give me clear and detailed sound for my music, :D

200 bucks? That would lead you to a Soundblaster ZxR actually. With that card you can go higher on a future headphone as well. It covers both your music and gaming needs very well.

Get this 3.5mm (1/8") headphone jack cable for the HD558, $15.30-$18.00.

I use the Aune T1 tube DAC/amp with the 558s. This really brings these to life. You will find plenty of detail in this thread. http://www.head-fi.org/t/633006/aune-t1-usb-tube-dac-amp-discussion-thread-see-first-post-for-faq

No real difference I'm aware off.
The stock 2.5mm jack that plugs into the headphones is a three channel connection
but the HD558 are two channel stereo headphones, so I'm assuming the third channel on the stock Senn cable is not used or the stock HD558 cable uses separate ground wires.
and the "Made in China" replacement only uses a two channel (stereo) connection to the headphones and uses a shared ground wire.
