I have two really fun pairs of cans. Some Sr 225s and DT770/80s. If there is an amp that is portable that is more fun the PA2V2, then please, any suggestions.

If you can find one, try a PINT w/ AD8397 on the L/R channels and LM6172 on the Ground channel.

If not that, you can try the Supermini w/ AD8397. I found that worked well with the GS-1000 and HF-1, at least. I believe you can also get AD8397/LM6172 on the new Supermini or Supermacro as the '4' channel topology uses 2 dual chips.

I was a bit surprise by your comment. The PAV2 is a great match with Grados (IMO). It brings out the bass and it is very punchy. What is it that you do not like?

Its a great match, I just didnt know if there was anything better, but now I am content, thanks.
