Where have you been looking? I had no problems finding heat shink for 22AWG and 26AWG.

I grabbed something like this at Fry's for $10.

Nospam: Hm, on those links, the smallest I see is 1/16" 2:1. I figured I would need something smaller to get down to 19 awg (0.0359").

It should work just fine. If you've soldered the wire to something, the diameter will be much greater than that of the bare wire. Also, just make the heat shrink long enough to grip the wire insulation, which is also fairly large (relative to the bare wire).

It works just fine for me, all the way down to 26AWG, which is much smaller than 19AWG.
